I was up about 7:00 as usual, Brian followed me up about 7:30. He worked on his laptop. I had my last packets of oatmeal so that we could recycle the box. Brian took out Pop Tarts for his breakfast and then filled the glass measuring cup with water and put it in the microwave. I had to remind him that he had Pop Tarts and not oatmeal. He had looked for his box of oatmeal in the cupboards earlier and couldn’t find the box. So that may have been why he tried to heat up water. We were able to get Fox 9 from the Twin Cities on the TV, so we watched that until the campground office opened up at 9:00. Brian got us checked in at the office and I went into their post office to drop off the cards. We put the sunshade on the front window and covered the tires to protect them from the sun. We grabbed out suitcases from the back storage area so that we could pack them for the return trip to the Twin Cities tomorrow. Back inside to cool off and do some inside chores. There was a couple from Elk River checking in at the same time, small world, isn’t it? We went to fill up the truck, picked up some bottled water for motorhome and had lunch. We then went to the camp laundry area to do the wash. No air conditioning! There were a couple of fans to help cool the room, however. Once we had folded the laundry, we started to pack the suitcases for the trip north. The RV park is a good size, not too big and not too small. In addition to the laundry room, there is a pool and hot tub, a clothesline for drying clothes, a pickleball court, along with the post office/mailroom. I’m sure we’ll discover more about the park over the winter.
