It rained during the overnight hours. On the way to Payson on Highway 260, we saw a rainbow in the distance. Once up in the mountains, Brian noticed some slush on the road, so he took his foot off the gas. We hit a really slushy spot and noticed a car in the ditch. We met a couple from North Dakota in Payson after getting through the bad weather. There are several Elk and Horse crossing signs but never saw either animal. Brian did just miss a deer crossing the road where there wasn’t a sign. We got to Yuma and opened the door to the motorhome. Something smelled bad! The fridge had stopped working while we were gone and everything got ruined. Brian cleaned out the fridge and all the bags got thrown in the trash at the park. We went to supper at Applebee’s since there wasn’t much in the motorhome for supper. Brian went to do laundry from the trip south while I stayed at the motorhome and swatted flies. There are so many!! We went grocery shopping afterwards to restock the refrigerator.
