We decided to break up this last leg of the journey back to Yuma to avoid being too tired when we got back to Yuma.  Along the way, we again dealt with many semi-trucks.  We also saw a car from Minnesota towing a red pickup truck that was from Willmar. But we could not catch up with it to see the design on the doors. While on AZ 117 headed into Show Low, we saw a sign that said we need to watch out for snowplows. Huh? It is 54 degrees out. Must be a sign they never take down. There are several mountains that seemed to block the sun, so it does make sense. We also got close to Pie Town AZ. It got its name because the bakery there is famous for their pies. Just before getting to Show Low, there was some road construction that had one lane traffic. We had to wait for the oncoming traffic to get through and then it was our turn. We checked into Super 8 and went to Sonic for supper.
