The dancing on Thursday night had six squares dancing.  One of the outside doors got opened to allow some airflow in the dance hall.  A tiny gecko hopped into the dance hall right by me.  I’m NOT a fan of geckos.  Another gecko came into the room after the dance.  They were both “shown the door”!

We took Friday off to run some errands, otherwise, we pretty much just hung around the motorhome.  It rained several times on Saturday. There was a rainbow after the rain in the evening.  Many dancers went outside to look at the rainbow. We went to Dairy Queen after the dance for supper and almost hit a fat skunk on the way back.  Luckily, we saw it in time, and it lived to see another day.  Sunday was another gloomy, rainy day so we stayed home.

Brian started with Plus Lessons on Monday night with two squares on the dance floor.  He started with reviewing calls that moved up from the Mainstream List and introduced some calls that moved down from the Advanced list. Tuesday night had five squares on the dance floor.  This was the last night to bring in new people.

Wednesday was a busy day for us.  I worked on my Diamond Dot project in the morning while the sun was shining in the window.  Brian planned his Saturday dance, arranged for our stay in Alamo, TX for next winter, called Parshall, ND to verify his burial place and he ordered our mail to be sent from South Dakota.  Thursday night had five squares dancing with 19 new dancers/students.  Friday was another relaxing day after doing laundry in the morning and leaving some money at the grocery store.

On Saturday the 20th, I finished my craft project.  Now, have to get a new one!  The club had a potluck supper before the dance.  Lots of good food, as usual with square dance potlucks.  There were two squares dancing after supper.

We’ve been taking it easy these past few days.  Brian continues teaching Plus on Monday nights and Mainstream on Tuesday and Thursday nights.  He developed a slight cough last Thursday, so he had Blake teach the class.  He hasn’t been talking much trying to recover from the cough.  Kind of quiet around the motorhome!  His voice recovered in time to call the dance on the 27th
