We both slept in this morning, to 7:00. At least for us it is sleeping in. I was up earlier during the night due to some stomach issues. Once that had passed through my system, I felt better the rest of the day. We drove into Taylor AZ to do our laundry. Brian had done some research on locations of laundromats and their website said that it was clean and not very busy. I’m not sure who left that review, but it was anything but clean and not very busy. We did get there before too many others so at least our laundry was in the dryers before the others arrived. A mother and daughter came and used up a whole row of the smaller washing machines and some of the larger ones too. On our way back to Show Low we topped at Safeway to get something for the couple hosting us for dinner tonight. We found a USPS mailbox so Brian was able to mail a previously purchased postcard to his old office. We folded the laundry, had lunch, then we both took a nap before driving to the home of Blake and Jennifer. She is the president of the square dance club in Show Low and he is a caller for the club. We enjoyed bowls of ice cream and conversation after the delicious dinner. Jennifer reminded us to be careful going back to the motorhome as the desert creatures are out at all hours of the night. Half expecting deer or elk to cross the road, we proceeded very carefully on the road. The only animals we saw were four very fat racoons crossing the road in front of us. Those creatures seem to be everywhere, don’t they! A little bit more episodes of Hogan’s Heros to settle us down for sleeping. It was chilly that night so I put on my warmer pajamas and we crawled in bed.
