On Friday the 5th, we went with the White Mountain Rim Rompers square dance club to supper in Snowflake, AZ before heading to Winslow, AZ for a dance. We met up with the Thunder Valley Twirlers at a park for the dance. Darren Gallina was the featured caller for the evening. He invited all the other callers in attendance to do one tip together.
Even though the daytime temperature was very warm, it cooled off that night, so it was comfortable for being outside. The club took a picture by the Flatbed Ford (made famous in the song by the Eagles) and a picture by the stage after the dance.

Saturday the 6th was Brian first dance of the season. There were just over three squares in attendance with three square dancing most of the night. One dancer from the Yuma club and one couple that used to live in Minnesota came to the dance. The dancers appeared to be having a great time, and much laughter was heard throughout the evening.

Brian starts Mainstream lessons on the 9th and the Plus lessons on the 15th, along with a dance most Saturday evenings. He will be a very busy caller!
