Brian was working on his computer when I woke up. I took a shower which felt good after a couple of days on the road. We went into town to find a place to take our bag of paper to be shredded, find the Wells Fargo Bank to stock up on some more cash and explore the town. Who knew the town was so big? We stopped at the grocery for some food and tried to straighten the cupboards when we got back. Not much luck as still too much food, which got pretty shaken up while driving. Had to be careful when opening the cupboard door to avoid falling food. Now that we are done with our errands: bank, Batteries Plus, UPS store, car wash, RV store, and grocery store. Brian is napping after lunch, so I watched some TV. We had supper with club members Lane and Barbara. Lane is the person who hired Brian for next summer. We enjoyed some great conversation after supper and dessert. Barbara explained how the town got its name and why one of the main routes through town is called Deuce of Clubs. And why the town of Snowflake is named as such. No, it doesn’t refer to snow like we have in Minnesota. You’ll just have to look this up for yourself.
