We woke up at seven o’clock, got dressed and went to breakfast at McDonald’s. Back to the camper to pack up and get ready to move. We hooked up the truck, took out the trash and got on our way. Another long day of travel ahead of us. We went from Colorado, New Mexico and into Arizona. While in Arizona, we passed through Snowflake. Huh? Snowflake in Arizona? Lots of desert landscape. The elevation was now over 12,000 feet above sea level while passing through the mountains. It was funny to see the outcroppings in the middle of the flat desert. We were met at the dance hall by club members of the White Mountain Rim Rompers who helped us get the camper settled in its spot behind the dance hall. There was a white-tailed deer watching us as we were getting set up. The dance hall has a wooden floor with a small stage for the caller. There is a kitchen that we could use if we wanted to. We were not able to get any local TV reception where we were parked, so we just turned on the Amazon Fire Stick again and watched our church service from that morning. The trumpet player that morning was someone that we have known since he was about three years old. When did he grow up? Brian wanted to take a shower, but he had forgotten to start the water heater again, so he had a lukewarm shower after a few minutes.
